Semester in Mexico
Curriculum and Faculty
Global Learning Semesters is partnered with the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara (UAG) for our Semester in Mexico program. Our host institution is fully accredited and will provide the transcript for students successfully completing academic course work.
The programs are designed and administered by the Centro Internacional de Idiomas (CII) and the UAG. Students enrolled in the program obtain official credit from the UAG. The semester lasts for 16 weeks and courses are worth between 3 and 4 credits (40-80 class hours). The CII is a part of the UAG and it is fully endorsed by UAG and the Secretaria de Educacion Publica, Mexico's equivalent of a Ministry of Education.
Curriculum
The Semester in Mexico has several different options for students to choose from that allows them to focus on their academic interests. This program's strength lies in the fact that it is
OPEN to students of ALL SPANISH LEVELS. The availability of options, however, depends primarily on the student's level of Spanish.
