Summer in Belize: Animal Science

Program Description

The Summer in Belize: Animal Science program allows pre-veterinary students to study animal health and disease in large and exotic animals. This program is unique in study abroad, particularly in regard to the ability to work with exotic animals. As a field-study course, the academic experience is very hands-on and includes supervised, practical and demonstration experiences at farms and the Belize zoo.

This is a superb summer experience for all biology, animal science or pre-veterinary students looking to enhance their knowledge and practice skills working with animals. All courses will be taught in English at Galen University in San Ignacio, Belize.
