Summer in Belize: Animal Science
Curriculum and Faculty
Global Learning Semesters partners with Galen University to provide accredited, academic programs in Belize. Galen University is a small, private, comprehensive university registered with the Ministry of Education in Belize and authorized to grant Bachelor's and Master's level degrees. Galen was established on U.S. higher education structure and academic rigor. The university functions in English, the official first language in Belize.
This is a very distinctive and unique international education experience for students interested in Animal Sciences. Not only will students explore field studies and practicum experiences with domestic animals such as horses and cattle, students also have a privileged opportunity to work with exotic animals in the renowned Belize Zoo.
Academic Curriculum
There are two 4-week Summer sessions available for this program, one in June and one in July.
June session (Session I) runs from late May to late June.
July session (Session II) runs from early July to early August.

Students enroll in two courses and earn 6 credits for this 4-week summer program.
