The Global Affiliate Program
Our affiliation program is quite standard in the industry and simply establishes a memorandum of cooperation between the home institution and Global Learning Semesters.
There are NO fees involved for your institution to become nor maintain an affiliation with Global Learning Semesters.
The Global Affiliate program is based on the belief that we have shared goals and objectives relating to:
- promoting study abroad to all students,
- ensuring students select programs that are most suitable for them,
- improving student preparedness,
- minimizing duplicate administrative burdens, and
- providing premium student support services and crisis management.
To that end, our Global Affiliates benefit from:
Institutional Cooperation
- Cooperation on site familiarization visits
- Customized advising and support for course approvals and credit transfer issues
- Support for initiatives promoting study abroad on your campus
Operational Coordination
- Tight coordination with home institution policies and procedures
- Early notification of new programs, program deadlines, program changes and approaching program quotas
Financial Support
- Discount fees for students from Affiliate member institutions
- No financial or enrollment commitments associated with Global Affiliate
- No exclusivity requirements
Technology Tools- Global Affiliates receive our AbroadOffice online technology service
- Use our online Advisor portal to see students from your institution applying, enrolled and alumni of our programs.
