Program Description

The Summer in Beijing program provides an introduction to one of the world's oldest languages and most interesting civilizations. The academic curriculum combines content courses with an optional Chinese language course. The subjects of the content courses are related to philosophy, economics, public policy, sociology, culture, literature, and music. All content courses are taught in English by prominent PKU professors and renowned experts. The Chinese language course will be taught by the International College of Chinese Language Studies of PKU.

This program is suitable for students at all Mandarin language levels. Students will also visit Xi'An and the Great Wall of China.
