Mexico City
Mexico City, the third largest city in the world after Tokyo and Sao Paulo, is the lively and bustling capital of Mexico. Its more than 19 million inhabitants enjoy of its many beautiful historical sites such as the Teotihuacan ruins, the Templo Mayor, the Basilica de la Virgen de Guadalupe, Chapultepec Palace, the National Anthropology Museum, and the Palacio de Bellas Artes, to name a few.
Tequila
The small city of Tequila is home to Mexico's national beverage. Most tequila found today is produced in this city and here visitors can find everything related to the drink - from the Museum of Tequila to informative tours of tequila distillers and producers like Jose Cuervo.
Tlaquepaque
Tlaquepaque is a quaint, picturesque town at the outskirts of Guadalajara and home to a large artisan and artist community. The city is particularly know for its work in blown glass and pottery and its streets and plazas are lined with restaurants, cafes, stores selling Mexican handcrafts, jewelry, and souvenirs, and top-notch art galleries.
