Distinguishing Factors
We are inclusive in our
programs because we believe most students have the capability to
benefit from a study abroad experience. That said, we do evaluate the
following qualitative factors to ensure that you are a good fit with
the program and are qualified to have a successful experience.
- Interest in the program topic
- Overall academic performance
- Rationale for participating in the program
- Disciplinary record / maturity
Overall, we are looking for students who we think will have the
intellectual curiosity, energy and passion for learning and travel that
will allow them to complete the academic component successfully, enjoy
the program and contribute to their classmates' learning.
Qualified candidates who we are not able to accommodate due to
capacity constraints will be given priority for the next semester's
program, so we encourage you to apply as early as is feasible.
We do not discriminate in our application decisions on the
basis of gender, nationality, ethnicity, religion, political
affiliation or sexual orientation.
