Program Description

The Summer in Mexico: Business Spanish program is designed for Business and Spanish majors with an intermediate to advanced level of Spanish who would like to improve their language skills for use in the Spanish speaking business world.

Students will attend classes in Spanish language and Business Spanish, as well as a course offered in English about the Mexican business environment.

We realize that it is a huge advantage in the workplace to feel comfortable speaking Spanish and to understand the business climate in Mexico and thus this program includes up to 7 visits to Mexican and multinational companies in Guadalajara.  You are given the opportunity to practice your Spanish language skills in the workplace and also learn more about a variety of businesses in Mexico.
