Summer in the Mediterranean: Art & Photography

ART-150: Painting I (3 credit hours) DES-260: Photography I (3 credit hours) ART-281: History of Art (3 credit hours) NOTE: Students can also take COMM-280: Intercultural Communications. This is a 3-credit, online course offered by the University of Nicosia, Cyprus. Students will attend the course online, and the University of Nicosia will issue the transcripts.
Teaching Methods
- All courses on the Summer in Mediterranean: Art & Photography program are University of Nicosia courses taught by
University of Nicosia faculty using University of Nicosia syllabi on the University of Nicosia campus. The University of Nicosia issues the transcript for this program.

Courses are taught on an intensive schedule and meet for approximately
7 hours per week for the five weeks that students are in Cyprus for a
total of 42 hours of classroom contact hours.
- While the travel portion is a required part of this program and linked to the curriculum, it is not-for-credit.
