Summer in Cyprus: International Relations
Curriculum and Faculty
Students on this program will attend two courses that will give them a first-hand view of a significant and complex International Relations issue such as nationalism, as well as a general overview of the importance of culture in International Relations. Curriculum IREL-325: Nationalism and International Relations (3 credit hours) EUS-210: European Cultures (3 credit hours) NOTE: Students can also take COMM-280: Intercultural Communications. This is a 3-credit, online course offered by the University of Nicosia, Cyprus. Students will attend the course online, and the University of Nicosia will issue the transcripts.
Teaching Methods
- All courses on the Summer in Cyprus: International Relations program are University of Nicosia
courses taught by University of Nicosia faculty using University of Nicosia syllabi on
the University of Nicosia campus. The University of Nicosia issues the transcript for this
program.
- Students complement their in-class instruction with 6-8 days
of in-country travel in Cyprus.
