Semester in Paris: Art & Design

Host Institution

Parsons Paris College of Art was founded in 1921 by Frank Alvah Parsons to provide the highest standard of American education to students wishing to pursue fine arts and design degree options in Europe. The College offers students from over forty countries an interdisciplinary course of study and a focus on widespread dissemination of visual culture.

Parsons Paris College of Art is ideally equipped for the modern artist. Skylit art studios, photography darkrooms, printmaking areas, fashion ateliers, computer labs and an in-house exhibition space, are some of the facilities available to students. Additionally, students have access to extensive library facilities. Small class sizes allow for close interaction with professors and peers.

Accreditation

Parsons Paris College of Art is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art & Design (NASAD).

Teaching Model

Parsons Paris College of Art is designed on the American semester model and uses US standards for grading, contact hours and credit hours. Courses are taught in English.
