Semester across the Mediterranean: Spain to Cyprus
Program Description The Semester Across the Mediterranean: Spain to Cyprus program is based in 2 fantastic Mediterranean countries: Spain and Cyprus! Students will spend 7 weeks in Barcelona, and another 7 weeks in Nicosia, with a 10-day in-between trip to Italy and Greece, thus covering the Mediterranean from the west to the east. On their eastwards journey students will visit Venice, Florence, Rome, Athens, Delphi, and Santorini before landing in Cyprus for the second half of their semester. The travel component does not impact the classroom schedule, and is combined with co-curricular material relating to the Mediterranean cultures. In Barcelona, students enroll to 2 or 3 courses at the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona. Classroom work is supplemented with immersion activities and visits to Madrid and Montserrat. In Cyprus, students enroll to 2 or 3 courses at the University of Nicosia. Classroom work is again supplemented with activities and visits to Ayia Napa, Limassol, and Pafos. See a photo album from past Mediterranean program trips. New! Watch a video of our students talking about the Multi-Country study abroad experience!
