Internships

You can substitute one of your 4 modules/courses at the University of Westminster with an internship and get prepared to enter employment after your graduation.

The course has been developed to help students gain the type of skills and real life experiences employers say they want from college graduates. We work together with the advisors on your home college campus to ensure that the internship you take as part of your program is suitable for credit, and that you complete all the necessary paperwork whilst in the UK.

Internship benefits:
  • gain a useful experience of the working environment in the UK
  • undertake a work-based project related to your major, minor or career aspirations
  • become aware of the culture and structure of a British working environment
  • develop new capabilities and skills
Sectors where students have been successfully placed in the past:
  • Art, Fashion & Design
  • Business & Trade
  • Charities & NGOs
  • Finance & Accounting
  • Human Resources
  • Journalism, Media & Publishing
  • Marketing, PR, Advertising & Sales
  • Music & Theater
  • Politics
  • Psychology
  • I.T.
If you would like more information on our London internships, as well as on the application procedure, email us at Support@GlobalSemesters.com

An internship application does not guarantee you a placement, that is why you need to apply early.

NOTE:

Students can also take COMM-280: Intercultural Communications. This is a 3-credit, online course offered by the University of Nicosia, Cyprus. Students will attend the course online, and the University of Nicosia will issue the transcripts.
