Semester in London: Business
Program Itinerary
The primary co-curricular activities in this
semester abroad program are focused on site visits with executives, particularly in banking, consulting and financial services. London has the single largest concentration of major financial services firms outside of perhaps New York and the study program provides an opportunity to learn more about how these firms work, what they do and what day to day life for a young employee would entail. The goal is to give students who have not been exposed to that environment before an opportunity to assess what implications it could have on their career choices.
In addition to the business visits, we ensure that students are well-oriented in London and visit some key cultural highlights of the city. This semester program will provide the students with independent weekends during which they can travel in the UK or to other countries.
