Program Itinerary

In addition to weekend excursions and field excursions in Cyprus, during the semester there are two breaks from classes so that students can travel to Asia and Europe for about four weeks in total. During these educational trips, students will visit cultural and historical landmarks in Greece, Italy, India and China.

Students on this study abroad program focus on the key cities of four great civilizations (Greece, Rome, India and China). They will see, first-hand, some of the greatest cultural achievements of humanity, including the Parthenon, the Colosseum, the Taj Mahal, the Forbidden City and the Great Wall of China.

The two major cities on our travel agenda are Athens and Rome, the great powerhouses of antiquity and sources of early clashes with Christianity.



In Athens, you will:

• Enjoy a vibrant, energetic and modern city

In Rome, you will

• Visit the Colosseum (home of gladiators) and Roman Forum

New Delhi



New Delhi is the heart of India administratively, a historical gem, a business hub and a city of unending energy and chaos. We will visit the new business suburbs of Gurgaon as well as the old Mogul monuments like the Red Fort and the governmental center of India.

 

Agra



While the focus on our program is business, we would be remiss if we did not stop in Agra to see what is one of the most perfect buildings in the world

 

Bombay



The financial capital of India, one of the most culturally rich and important cities of the sub-continent.

 

Shanghai



The busiest construction site in the world, Shanghai is reinventing itself at a breathless pace.

 

Beijing



The capital of China, historically and today, Beijing combines a great heritage with a sprawling, modernizing metropolis.

 

Hong Kong



A historic British colony, Hong Kong retains great importance as a financial center in Asia.
