Hotels

We stay in tourist-class hotels when traveling. Tourist class hotels are safe, clean, comfortable, but typically not luxurious. We make great efforts to almost always ensure that our hotels are centrally located in areas of the city where students can explore independently and safely in their free time. Breakfast is always included at our hotels when we travel.

Unlike many student-oriented travel programs or most independent student travel, and as part of our commitment to student safety and program quality, we never stay in student hostels.

Students stay two to a bedroom (same-sex, separate beds) when traveling. On some occasions, three students might stay in a three bed triple room or one student might stay alone in a single room.

On rare occasions and on certain programs, we might organize a special cultural event, such as staying overnight in a monastery or a nature preserve.
