Cisneros Study Abroad Scholarship

The Cisneros Study Abroad Scholarship is a special scholarship offered as part of the Hispanic Study Abroad Scholars program.

The Universidad de Alcalá de Henares, a host institution partner with Global Learning Semesters, is our first Special Initiative partner. The Universidad de Alcalá has generously agreed to fund the Cisneros Study Abroad Scholarship for all HSAS students attending GLS semester programs in Alcalá.

Study abroad programs at the Universidad de Alcalá are hosted by the Institute for North American Studies at Trinitarios College with whom we offer innovative programs such as the Spanish Heritage program for students with bilingual and bicultural backgrounds.

This program provides 1,000 Euro (approximately $1,250) in scholarship monies per student and is in addition to the HSAS.
